The Mary Ann Johnston Life Enrichment Series

is presented by the Wagnalls Memorial
through the bequest of Mary Ann Johnston in 1999.
Ms. Johnston held a degree in Pharmacy and studied macrobiotics at the Kushi Institute in Boston. She believed in the importance of life-long learning and balancing the four natures: spiritual, mental, emotional and physical.

Thursdays Banquet/Social Hall Step Aerobics led by Natalie Parker, "Nat Zumba"
Thursdays 6:00-6:55pm $7*. No registration required. Pay the night of class with cash or Venmo.
There will be an instructional session to teach the basics from 6pm - 6:15pm.  The cardio portion of the class will be from 6:16pm - 6:55pm. Anyone is welcome!  Using a step platform makes it a lot of fun but it is not a requirement. If you do wish to bring a step, please also bring a yoga mat to avoid slipping.  Proper footwear is also required for your safety.  No sock feet.

Thursdays 7:00-7:30pm $7* No registration required. Pay the night of class with cash or Venmo.
The challenge of adding resistance by using Zumba® Lightweight maraca-like Toning Sticks (or 1-2 lb. weights).
The sticks or weights are not a requirement.  Even 2, 16 oz. water bottles would work!  We ask that you do not go higher than 2.5 lbs. because shaking weights higher than this might cause injury.  This is a dance-based class, although anyone can participate and benefit.
*$10 to participate in both STEP and TONING (back to back) classes

Saturdays 9:30-10:30am $6 No registration required. Pay the morning of class with cash or Venmo.
Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together and take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party like no other.
